DE TO A FRIEND
The peaceful stones of that secluded isle,
Bear witness to his spirit, and his smile.
A man of generous hand and boundless heart,
Who chose to play a true and righteous part.
With tender joy, he welcomed every child,
Their laughter in his garden reconciled.
A sanctuary built from good intent,
Where love was given, freely, and was spent.
