I've been lurking here for a long time.
I never really post much, but this time, I wanted to share something real.
I'm not gonna pretend I'm doing well. I’m not. I’m 23, I feel like my best years never even started. I’ve struggled with loneliness, with feeling invisible, with watching myself fall behind in every area while others just… live. It’s like I’m stuck watching life happen from the outside.
But there was a time — when I was a kid — when things actually felt okay.
I didn’t know what looks were. I didn’t think about status. I just watched cartoons, played in the schoolyard, and thought I’d grow up to be happy.
That kid had hope. That kid smiled. That kid believed in life.
This mix is for him.
It’s not a “DJ set.” I’m not a pro.
I’m not trying to impress anyone with technique. I just wanted to create a soundtrack to that feeling you get when you look at a childhood photo and suddenly your chest feels heavy — like something beautiful died and you’re still grieving it.
It’s trance, ambient, nostalgic, melancholic.
It’s music to cry in silence, or to just sit and remember a version of you that felt safe, that hadn’t been crushed yet by life.
I called it “Letters to the Past”
