Lie about having a girlfriend

In august i moved to a city where i didnt know anyone unless my roomate. Which means that all the people i've met doesnt know anything about me. this brings me: when I meet girls, could I pull off saying that I have a gf to make the girl more interested? I've read that women often want what they can't have, and also it would give me "proof" that I'm worth it. I'm really good in photoshop, so I could easily edit in the same girl on mutltiple pictures with me, to have in backup if she asks for a pic. I would obviously chose a raelly good looking girl way out of my leauge / model tier. could this make random women i meet to become more attracted to me?

Only downside with this that i can think of is if it becomes a little serious with whoever I meet, and she starts digging. also I'm a virgin so I would suck in bed..

has anyone does anything similar to this?
