I see so many companies these days acting like leeches giving grads such shit pay and asking "relevant experience" of 2-3 years just for entry level jobs. Experience to get experience so fucking useless jfl.

do you have any suggestions on getting around references? i plan on getting a job soon but i left my last job on bad terms, and getting a reference from them would be a ball ache tbh

Ditch the old job reference if it’s a hassle. Use a trusted colleague or mentor from that gig who’ll vouch for you without drama. If that’s not an option, lean on professors freelance clients to fake a solid reference. Worst case invent a believable contact at a “small firm” and have a friend ready to answer the call. Corps rarely dig that deep.

To what extent can you lie ?

You can hype up your involvement and impact on your resume say you “spearheaded" a project when you just helped out or claim you "drove 20% growth" in a metric when you were part of the team. Stretch job titles like calling yourself a "team lead" instead of "team member' or bump up the scope of your responsibilities to sound more senior. Just don't invent new jobs and companies and just tweak what you did to sound bigger. Faking entire degrees and jobs is risky and can result in a lawsuit @Vantablack @imontheloose
