I grew up in the 20th century, back when Romania was still communist, then during the transition to capitalism, life is much easier now in the 21st century, trust me - we didn't have cable TV, computers, Internet, video games, smartphones, nothing!
We didn't even have malls, supermarkets, food like hamburgers, hot dogs, peanut butter, exotic fruits like avocados, coconuts, pineapples, papaya, etc.
