life choices

I was (and mostly still am) mediocre to awful in every class despite my efforts, I stopped trying and somehow I'm doing fine grades wise. Recently I just got accepted for my future option choices academically and I hate them all, i took them because "it offers more job options in the future" because I'm kind of lost at the moment as if I'm even going to get near the average. Originally, I wanted to do arts but it would mean having to leave my family and friends to go in a ego fest where everyone is gay or lesbian, with slightly shit to no personality or humor, trying soo hard to be different just to get a job which barely gets food on the table .

Ofc I'm not retarded enough to give up, I'm going to concentrate a maximum, but for what in the end?
If you're in the same position as me, go against your will in case you somehow change you vision later on in life and get new interests, if not, get your money up just in case and pray for success.

Didn't start the year yet but I'll keep you updated...
