Everything is a struggle. Look at nature. Animal loses a leg? Too bad, you gotta keep going. Lose an eye? Too bad gotta keep going. Same applies for humans.
The difference is we're not saddled with physical harm. Just emotional. The fact that we've become more lonely and less connected because of social media is a big factor. However, the world has become easier.
Sure there's the women thing which is important, but there's more to that. Who wants to be pretty and live as a plumber? Better to achieve big things. People will say cope but there's more to life.
The key is discipline.
First find what u want. (School, work, goals etc)
Then make a plan.
Stick to it like you have no choice. You wouldn't skip out on a job. You'd come even when sick. So why not stick to your plan?
The emotional pain you have to endure is all upfront. It only takes focus.
Get rid of all unnecesary distractions. Social media, drugs, cigarettes, porn, junkfood.
Thats step 1.
Then start by just doing what you should be or is planned. Just show up. Do this for some time untill you build confidence. If it fails, scale back, if you endure, scale up. The key is consistency.
Grind it out every day. You'll see that the anxiety upfront is just an illusion, a feeling. Control it.
Tldr:
Make a plan.
Stick to it.
See the emotional pain you have to endure as nothing more than that. Like a cold shower.
Endure.
Repeat.
Look back in as little as 1 and sometimes 3 months, and see the distance you've gone.
PS:
People can work for 14 hours a day easily if forced. Why can't you force yourself to work half? Emotions are all an illusion. Be a man.
