I unironically think that the most important thing of teenage years is having a group of friends and doing social activities. And most men had this to a decent amount.

Women probably had better youths on average, but I don't think they had so much more romantic and sexual experience than men. Most girls aged 15-19 have boyfriends around their age or 1-2 years older.
