Life is like an eternal loop

A newborn is born grows ups goes to school gets a degree just to work a 9-5 (because they dont give a shit about degrees) work and work until you reach 65 have atleast 15-25 years left of freedom while being in your 70-80 just to die in your deathbed. And then the cycle begins again over and over again. Let me get this straight is this what Life is about just work your ass off and reproduce just to die and leave like dust with nothing?
