As a kid you are fed ideas that life is a fairytale and that all is good. You are often sheilded by those around you and you dont realize how depressing and terrible life is until you grow older. Most people are depressed and there is som sick shit going on daily all around the world. Just like cartoons and fairytales are cope for children, alcohol and drugs are cope for adults. You only see the brutal reality of things once you get older.
