I wonder if it used to be better in the far past

We used to die at around 20-30 years of age, being cut down and raped by enemy groups/armies, and after that we were eaten because there was no animal husbandry in controlled environments (and everyone was hungry and meat was limited), and all we wanted out of life was to get some girls who had just reached puberty pregnant, to make sure we passed on our genes..

Now we sit in air conditioning communicating through a magic screen and jerking off to Japanese cartoons..
