Id rather die than go to jailNiggas be arguing for the death penalty for the convicted, life in prison is 100x more harsh while death penalty is no suffering and the easy way out
Yeah but a compelling argument in favor of the death penalty is that resources are being wasted in scumbags that offer absolutely nothing of value to societyNiggas be arguing for the death penalty for the convicted, life in prison is 100x more harsh while death penalty is no suffering and the easy way out
Resources to make them suffer sounds goodYeah but a compelling argument in favor of the death penalty is that resources are being wasted in scumbags that offer absolutely nothing of value to society
Resources to make them suffer sounds good
Cheaper is the death penalty, since forced labour is banned in a lot of countries it makes more economic sense to kill them
Personally I don't see why making them suffer for atrocious crimes they've committed will do any good to society at all, especially when said resources can go to people in need.Resources to make them suffer sounds good

I used to think the same however keeping them alive is much cheaper than legal proceeds for trial and execution so it doesn't make sense economically, further more I don't trust authority to have the power over someone's life that can and will go bad quickly, sounds nice in theory but in reality it's awfulCheaper is the death penalty, since forced labour is banned in a lot of countries it makes more economic sense to kill them
I agree but people who get sent to prison for life are usually to low iq/low sentience to comprihend the extent of the punishment, for a high iq person 40 years in jail would be tourture, for this guy it would be "I wonder if they have sausage rolls for lunch tomorow"Niggas be arguing for the death penalty for the convicted, life in prison is 100x more harsh while death penalty is no suffering and the easy way out
you still have to go through a legal process to keep them jailed for life, just seize the assets from them and their families estate.I used to think the same however keeping them alive is much cheaper than legal proceeds for trial and execution so it doesn't make sense economically, further more I don't trust authority to have the power over someone's life that can and will go bad quickly, sounds nice in theory but in reality it's awful

Because they work in prison and it's more cost efficient than death penalty and because there are false convictionsPersonally I don't see why making them suffer for atrocious crimes they've committed will do any good to society at all, especially when said resources can go to people in need.
The point is it is indeed cheaper to keep them alive, for the death penalty to take place they would have to go through that original process too, it's too complex to do all of that feasiblyyou still have to go through a legal process to keep them jailed for life, just seize the assets from them and their families estate.
Would probably just be net 0The state kills people all the time anyway this time it will be like a 50 50 chance that it benefits the people or a net 0
