Life so shit that studying becomes fun

Around 3 weeks ago i started studying for my mocks and coincidentally my best (and only) friend lowk stopped texting me (i never text first and i havent determined whether he ghosted me or is just busy) anyways this should be one of the worst periods of my life but ive never felt this happy. Everyday i actually have something to look forward to (studying), time actually feels scarce. Ive also started taking ritalin and modafinil when studying so that is prob a big factor too.
