That depends whether you are introverted or extroverted. In my case, I am more introverted but at parties, I can be extroverted, so I am a bit of both.

For people who are just very extroverted, they will need friends with them very often to not feel lonely. Although I do enjoy socializing, just a normal night with lots of people feels like too much for me, but I am able to handle spending a very long time completely alone, that is one of the benefits of being an introvert.
