Dental implants can prevent bone loss after tooth removal just fine. So it’s not that bad if you lost a tooth, just don’t leave that space empty.

I feel like the resorption would only resorb the portion of the alveolar bone that is directly under the teeth, not the entire mandible itself.

My mom had two teeth extracted due to decay, and her facial structure is basically the same

My grandparent that are 90 years old have 0 tooth and still have good jaw. You are probably right.

Wisdom teeth does not affect it at all. They are teeth that does not need to be in your mouth. They are separate from the basal jawbone. There is no dentist that will put teeth implants in place that does not even fit in your mouth.

Good my dad said he’ll take all measures to prevent this from affecting my looks anyways but we already agreed on dental implants
