If you have poor ogee curve coupled with a recessed maxilla, bimax/lf1 can enhance it in certain scenarios:

in a way, it can. if you have a recessed midface a horizontal lengthening can pull and tighten the soft tissue, as is the case for lefort 1. if your midface (maxilla) is short/recessed the soft tissue tends to bunch up around your zygomatic body, and pulling it forward can help accentuate them. the osteotomy doesn't mobilize the actual zygomatic complex, but gives the illusion that they're more defined. it can not add actual projection.

TLDR - Lefort 1 will stretch the skin and enhance soft tissue distribution leading to more accentuated cheekbones in some cases (recessed maxilla, short face syndrome, etc.)

He's not even recessed though. But you can see that pulling the lower maxilla forward a bit would accentuate his zygos.
