People might care less about kids that aren’t theirs but they’ll still care. It’s actually an inherent part of human nature.
It’s the reason most people would help out a kid that’s wounded and needs emergency help for example.

Well i would help a kid and be compassionate if he is in danger but i wouldnt feel emotionally anything to that kid. There are 2 types of empathy, i obviously have normal cognitive empathy but to assume everyone has emotional empathy seems unrealistic tbh.
