We are close to being able to have 80 year olds walking around as in shape 45 year olds. Its already been done with rats basically. What hasnt been done is extending the maximum lifespan much as the rats suddenly drop off very fast at the end and die at the upper age limits. Look for humans to become more like something like crocodiles that dont have a long period of senescence before dying like us but dont look for most humans going much past a 100 years old unless some new major breakthrough happens in the years ahead.

Retirement age would be increased for sure so you would spend working 70 years instead of 40 and then live for 10-20 years while retired.
