lift compression is fucking annoying

i bought 6 cm shoe lifts just to test them out, NOBODY has said jackshit, they work real well but the only issue is that they compress pretty quickly and now give like 4-5 cm in height. I might measure myself with and without them just to double check but I've definitely noticed it IRL.
This is why I think the classic "limit" I hear a lot about here of buying 6 cm lifts max should be disregarded unless they don't compress at all, you should prob buy 7-8 and run or walk in them alone a lot until they compress to about 6, and then start wearing them all the time.

6cm is too much to fruad with lifts anyways. 2.5-4cm and shoe’s should be the max.

I'm talking about elevator shoes, sorry I should've been more specific. A 6 cm elevator shoe only gives you a 4 cm boost over anyone else, maybe more like 2-3 considering the compression.
