Lifting while playing varsity basketball

So I just started the basketball season and I fucking hate our coach so fuking much he makes us run constantly. I am sore 24/7 and I tried to keep up my gym regime, but it feels like a recipe for injury. What should i do bc i can’t just stop lifting or i’ll lose all my gains, rn i’m thinking abt adding bpc 157 into my pinning routine. and no im not being a pussy he is like an irl coach carter but i can’t quit bc bball is good for college resume and being on a varsity sport is aura

If you’re able to run something and not get caught go for it.
Have a coach like this too even when injured does this bs.
Eat a shit ton of carbs throughout the day and have jelly beans r sum before and during trainings.
Me personally I also bring 2litres of just electrolyte water cuz we’re running like a track team.

How many carbs u think i should have throughout the day + before lifting and practice? I hear alot of ppl say diff numbers but ik as a athlete u should probably be eating much much more. Also love the jelly bean idea lmao those sound good asf rn ima eat those tmrw

Jelly beans are amazing defienrlt try it best thing that’s worked for me just pure carbs and hits fast.

No idea myself honestly on the amount of carbs but just make sure you prioritise them the same if not more than protein on the training days.

On match days even ive noticed on a shiton of carbs most I’ve ever eaten was 500g I dropped like 18 compared to normal 4 points which is insane and has happened multiple times.

Another insane find was beetroot juice forgot what in it made it so good but you’ll find info on TikTok, something to do with extra oxygen to blood and I felt like I had unlimited stamina.
Could get shots of the thing in them or eat a back of beetroots but choice is yours.

Long ass message but you get the point nitric oxide was the beetroot compound and carbs like jelly beans,jelly babies and rice cakes and honey throughout The day is what I rely on.
