Subconsciously society sees whites as higher class = more opportunities and privileges in many aspects. You can say ‘i’ll still look white with black hair’ which is true of course, but it won’t be on the same level of high class Euro aesthetics vs brown

It also does much better with women, more appeal or whatever. People might say black hair looks better, but even if it does, it’s worse in practice.

Idk I've never experienced any benefit from it. There's less contrast with light brown hair so you don't pop as much as black colour wise
