Lighting

I’m like an ltn max in normal lighting but like a sub3 in direct sunlight and some other lighting angles- I know this might be cope but do cameras change the lighting? And do other people look really good in half of the lighting and terrible in other situations? For now I have just been avoiding direct sunlight
