Let’s say you pay $100,000 USD for 8 cm. That’s $1250 USD per MILLIMETER. Of course, to make it worse, it also costs time, risks your health, possibly creates problems proportion-wise, and is painful. I’m not saying it can’t be worth it, but it’s just so unfair what manlets have to do while the luckier ones are tall without a single heightmaxxing effort, and will still mog us manlets even post-surgery. What I really hope for is new technologies, like stem cells. Plus if stem cells for height increase are developed and offered, it might also lower the costs of limb lengthening since it would have lower demand.

Technically health insurance does cover LL. But for people who actually need it. People with dwarfism or with extremely uneven Limbs often get LL completely covered by insurance. Just seems like a better procedure no need to break bones and be hospitalized. Can grow over time. Can implant in multiple areas for harmonious proportions. Less oversight needed.

Obviously we're in dream land here but I think this could be possible in a few decades.
