You can get a 3" lengthening in one single femur procedure.
To get a safe 4" lengthening, you might need to do both femur and tibia. Although @AustrianMogger might tell you to try it in one single femur procedure (you're 6', so probably more lenghtening potential on average than a smaller guy).

this is a serious post
If you were actually serious about it, you would read up on the topic instead of asking such basic questions and expecting to be spoon-fed everything. This is a very expensive, relatively risky surgery, with a long and tedious post-op recovery.

Thank you for responding in a respectful manner I honestly just wanted to hear someone opinion, but I’m definitely not gonna just look for other people to educate me. I will definitely do more research if you have any research on this topic, please share with me

You can start off your research in the main LL communities :
LL discord (I don't have a direct link to share)
http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/
https://www.reddit.com/r/limblengthening/

You should find every practical info you need over there.

On this forum, as far as I know, among active users, Austrianmogger, Realism, and bjebb007 have undergone this procedure.

I mean you cant do 10cm in a Singular osteotomie in femoral lenghtening idk why you say i would suggest that.
You can however do 8.3cm maybe 9cm with the intial gap precice 2.2 femoral lenghtening. So 9cm is the limit in a Singular osteotomie and procedure.
Realistically you could also reverse the nail after 1 year and do another 5cm

I personally always advise against lenghtening more than 7cm per bone and osteotomie. You can do endless LLs with time but you cant do endless lenghtening at once.

LL is a fairl non risk surgery if one internal. Death rate is like 1 in 10.000 and is mainly caused by fat embolism that can be reduced by splitten the operations one week appart and taking right Meditation.

I was sort of joking, because you like to push the envelope. That said, I didn't know there were such limitations involved with femoral lenghtening. Is it different with tibial ? Didn't LTremba lenghten his tibias by 10 cm in one go ?

I meant "relatively risky" in its consequences, if done poorly. I wasn't talking about the surgical act itself.

Where did you get it done? How was recovery and do you need someone else to be with you during the initial period after the procedure?

I wouldn't like people to know i underwent through LL, if i could i would get it before i am 23, isolate myself until i heal then just say i had an unexpected growth spurt or some shit, since its not hard to convince normies of stuff like that, but for me height isn't currently a failo so i am first going to fix my face, i've accepted that if i were to have this surgery performed, it would be after im 26.

I consider LL to be high ROI even at 6'0+

Lmao I’m deadass thinking the same plan as you what jobs or careers are you looking into this surgery is expensive asf if you don’t mind I would like to know I’m 18 rn so I got a lot of saving

Le tremba did LON.
LON is a Mixtur of internal and external and does have almost no limitations in lenghtening.
I always advise against LON cause discomfort, scars, musscle tears and weakness and infections.
I always say to people to do Internal cause that is save and easy LL.
Lon is dangerous, internal is not.
Le tremba did i belive 11 or 11.5 femoral LON. He recovered decent from it but lost some Performance from it. Overall ok recovery but i would have done it differntly since you can do overall 24cm Nd recover 80-90% or like Le tremba 50%.
He then did 10.5cm tibia internal LL with betzbone.
Betzbone is an internal weightbearing mechanical nail. Good for beeing able to walk with or without crutches the entire time. Bad for beeing very painful.

Again. My 7cm are a save statement that i belive is the savest to do especially with pmax that is out soon.

LL is actually most high toi from 6 ft to 6ft 5 or 3.
I did it in germany/Austria. Wont specify surgeon on this forum. Maybe when i did the double LL in 2028.

I mean it depends how mobile you are. With pmax, a new nail you can walk normally even during lenghtening. With precice 2.2 you need crutches and a walker or if you are fat then a wheelchair.
I think its doable to live on your own but depends on your living situation.
Also if you are 23 now its already over.

If you don’t mind me asking how are you able to afford this and what is your surgeons price

Better than le tremba as in he will recover much better than him.
However i have to say 30cm is even too much for my taste but he looks good. If he trains his legs he will look pretty good. Also face ascended.
He should think Abo doikg arm lenghtening maybe and clavicle.

My surgery cost 55k and my dad paid for it.
I have like 50-60k in assets currently so face is secured.
But i need another 60k for the double LL so i need a better job this and next year and ask my grandpa for money.

100% he definitely needs both but I heard don’t know if it’s true but for clavicle you can only get 2–4 cm total shoulder width increase idk if that’s high roi imo

Did you dad pay in full or is there payment plans because 50k seems reasonable if there’s a payment plan lmao

Nah im 19, already have $16K saved up but i need to fix either my eye area or my midface, im tryna convince my surgeon to give me a Quadrangular LF1 when i get my DJS done (next year, covered via insurance), he seems open to suggestions and i think he will agree, that way i don't have to pay for Midface Implants and can focus on fixing my eyes, and after that every dollar i save up could go for LL

Haven't measured in a long time but i am probably around 6'0, where i live i am considered above avg height but nothing crazy, if i enter a room with 40 dudes, 8 will be taller than me and majority will be just a little below my heigh, so i can't even imagine what living in Europe or the US must be for a short man

Next year i am getting into mathematical engineering, would like to eventually work in bioengineering research or mechanistic interpretability (ai)

Id also like to leave my shithole country but at the same time i feel anxious knowing that people in North America and Europe mog me to death and i would be probably seen as less than a dog by the women over there, i am latino
