but im installing either artix or arch in the next couple days
already was able to do it on a vm even with manual install just watch a video or smt

Im good with Ubuntu partly because the interface really appealed to me But the only thing I don't like here is Snap.

I completely wiped my Windows without giving a shit. Only later did I realize I could have kept it on the other drive

i wiped my windows shit with all its folders only keeping like a couple(which was retarded tbh)

i had alot of og media on that shit, but yk thats why i just keep everything on a external drive atp

ubuntu is really user friendly tbh
just has minimal ricing options
and for someone who spends alot of time on the pc i atleast want smt nice to look at

I don't use linux for privacy though, it helps but it will never truly get rid of ZOG on your electronics, linux just works better and is far superior in every aspect to windows

It was an ass to set up but once I had it all figured out it made everything feel so much more simple and streamlined for me, only having to press some shortcuts to immediately switch to another tab in a matter of seconds, the speed and ease of access from everything you get as well as the unlimited potential for customization just made it so that I could make my system purely tailored to my exact likes

i legit revived a couple of my familys abandoned late 2000s pcs by booting some light ass distro on them
plus ricing way much better then windows

Genuinely never had such a simple to understand yet easily customizable and aesthetic setup for myself until i got hyprland

I use linux mostly for gaming and since im studying related field and most likely gonna work in that sector it just makes sense to be familiar
