Linux users GTFIH I need help

I am trying to install Windows on a linux machine. The windows installer is unable to identify any of the drives in the machine.

Download Intel Drivers and Software

Download new and previously released drivers including support software, bios, utilities, firmware and patches for Intel products.

I assume I need to install this VMD driver but it is only in a .exe form. Have never had a problem like this ever in previous systems as intel has always provided a file instead of an .exe

Can anyone please help me with this?

why cant u just run it in virtualbox or some other program like that ?

I need to get this running on native hardware because I might hand over this system to someone else soon. KVM/QEMU is not an option.
