Is there a way to lighten lip color and remove that slight darker color to get that bright ideal color for better coloring?

Vitamin c serum works but be aware of the concentration as too much can make your lips patchy like cold weather ,also don't smoke and your lips will get better.

I don’t smoke I think it’s the color tone of my lips. I need it to be lighter

It does look gay maybe the guy is gay but it was just an example of what I’m trying to kind of get. Getting rid of that dark/brown layer of skin in the lip is not gay.
