Liquid chlorophyll - Does it work?

Does Liquid chlorophyll help with eyelightening if I were to directly put it on my eyes (of course mixed with water). I have started drinking it and shit, but I wonder since it is chlorophyll and my eyes are green that it can lighten them or make em greener. I saw a previous thread about it and wondered if its bs or not.
