Liquid Snake spent his entire life believing he was genetically inferior. He compared himself to Solid Snake, resented him, and built his identity around what he thought he lacked.
In the end, he was wrong, he was the genetically superior one.
The tragedy wasn't that he had bad genes. The tragedy was that he wasted years hating himself because of a belief he never questioned.
I don't know exactly what my future looks like. I don't know how much my height, genetics, looks, or other traits will matter.
What I do know is that I don't want to make the same mistake.
If I spend years obsessing over what I think I'm missing, I might never notice the opportunities, friendships, achievements, and experiences that are already in front of me.
Solid Snake didn't win because he spent his life comparing himself to Liquid. He focused on the mission in front of him.
My mission isn't to become genetically perfect. My mission is to become stronger, more skilled, more confident, and to live a life I'm proud of.
I refuse to spend years acting like the loser of a game whose rules I don't even fully understand.
