This post is about my own experience with elvanse and how i’ve used it for studying and work.
I haven’t had problems with studying before, but has used this to get me more productivity and increase my effective time when working and studying.
What is lisdexamfetamine
It is used to treat ADHD and binge eating disordered it a stimulant that affects the central nervous system. It’s a prodrug, meaning it is inactive when swallowed and is slowly realized into your system throughout the day. It boosts dopamine and norepinephrine, which improves your focus, reduce impulsivity and regulates your appetite.
Positive effects
In short lisdexamfetamine pushes out more dopamine and blocks it from being reabsorbed, where as methylphenidate only blocks the reabsorption of the dopamine already there. I’ve experimented with both and have found lisdexamfetamine to completely mog methyldphenidate. From what i’ve heard it is different from person to person, so good to experiment with both.

I can only speak of where i’m from (scandinavia). Here it is very hard to get prescribed, so the only way is almost just to know someone that has ADHD and buy it of them. It is very common however to know someone with ADHD. Worst case if you don’t know anyone is jump on snapchat or telegram and there is someone selling there, however if you are also in scandinavia they will sell it to you completely overpriced.
Tips for taking it
I’ve been taking 30mg since that is the dose of the pills i’ve been able to get my hands on. This has been the sweet spot for me. This is however not a pill that is going to completely change everything, there are still some things you need to have locked in to completely get the full effects
Amazing drug that can definitely help you increase your grades or get more productive at your work. You will quickly built up a tolerance, so I don’t recommend using it more than twice a week to keep it effective. If you're not a completly idiot and abuse it, then it's a no brainer to start utilizing to increase your performance. From my experience i deffefently prefer it over normal ritalin (i tried a lot of different doses of ritalin as well)

- Sleep. Get your quality and quantity of sleep, since it refills the dopamine and brain chemicals that the medication needs to work effectively.
- Caffeine. I’ve noticed caffeine for me doesn’t not increase my focus that much when on it, but i still often drink a monster when doing it cause i like the ritual of it. But still be careful, since caffeine can also increase your heart rate, etc.
- Water. You will probably get extremely dry mouth so drink a lot of water it will help your mitigate a lot of the other negative effects.
- Walking. I’ve found walking around every couple of hours just for some minutes has helped me hold my focus for longer sessions.
