When you adjust for age nearly every country on the planet has more young men than young women.

Sex ratio at birth is 1.05 males to females. It’s not 50-50 even if you take out human intervention via fertility treatments and abortion

Age is the most important context.

Loads of the countries with more females is largely due to the men dying in WW2 and other early deaths like alcoholism.

In other words, the surplus of females are really a surplus of OLD WOMEN.

It would benefit everyone if every third male fetus was aborted.

Ratio goes from 1.05:1 to 0.7:1 real nice.
