Let me break it down in more detail. See a lot of greycels being low IQ and throwing around meme tier surgeries like they candies. On looksmax.org there are basically two categories of surgeries people talk about.
1. Realistic / commonly performed aesthetic surgeries (things plastic surgeons actually do)
2. Pipedream / fantasy tier surgeries (things that sound good in theory but are medically extreme, dangerous or almost never offered for purely aesthetic reasons)
Pipedream / Unrealistic Surgeries
Orbital decompression for aesthetics
Real purpose: For thyroid eye disease or orbital tumors to preserve vision.
Why pipedream: Surgeons rarely (basically never) do it for sunken eye or hunter eye look. Yes I am aware Eppley offers something similar but what he does isn't a true orbital decompression. He just used implants a true OD is removing orbital bone or fat to physically make more room for the eye. .It is an etremely risky surgery and can cause double vision or even blindness.
Cranial vault reduction / skull reshaping
Real purpose: Craniosynostosis, severe deformities, or accident trauma.
Why pipedream: Cosmetic making skull smaller/rounder / flatter is neurosurgery level. Requires scalp removal, bone cutting, plates. Not a single person in the planet offers this for aesthetics.
Zygomatic osteotomies (zygomatic sandwich, zygomatic repositioning)
Real purpose: Correcting congenital asymmetry or severe trauma.
Why pipedream: Again another functional reserved for accident victims. Rarely done just to widen or project cheekbones aesthetically. Healing is very brutal and painful. Plates and screws involved
Canthal tendon repositioning for hunter eyes
Real purpose: Rare reconstructive or eyelid support surgery.
Why pipedream: nighas want aesthetic canthal tilt correction but it’s rarely stable long term and often causes eyelid issues.
More Realistic Surgeries. The ones actually offered by cosmetic surgeons and are willing to do that don't involve significant risk and are not mental mastrubation.
Rhinoplasty (nose job)
Genioplasty (chin advancement/setback)
Jaw implants (custom or standard)
Cheek implants / fillers
Lip lift or lip augmentation
Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery)
Hair transplant
TLDR-The “pipedream” ones usually come from craniofacial reconstructive surgery territory, not cosmetic surgery. Greycels who read some retarded thews on the forhm hype them up but in practice, you’ll almost never find a surgeon willing to literally cut open your skull in half, severe the sinuses or orbit just for aesthetics. If you even find one he is more of a favela butcher than an actual surgeon with a medical degree
