Btw, this is actually not that bad a death tbh. I mean, it is terrible, but not the worst. The guy was pierced incorrectly.

IRL, when they did impaling, it was done such that maximum suffering was achieved. For this, the spike came out from the side of the body, not like you showed. And the victim stayed alive for up to a week, while the executioner as actually maintaining the sufferer alive.
