This is true as well tbh but only because society has become so large to the point everyone is considered replaceable. Back in hunter days each individual was cherished.

I definitely agree to an extent. Also, in-groups aren’t tight-knit gangs, except for…gangs. Most in-groups just exist but there isn’t that much cohesion.

It is kind of like joining a community of ultra high net worth people when you hypothetically get wealthy. You would think you’re praised by your new community and that they cherish you—they don’t. Nobody cares and they will find a way to make a hierarchy within the group and still discriminate and abuse one another.
