Japan got nuked twice, and still re-built faster than Africa ever has. Soviet Union and Yugoslavia both existed and then ceased existing and most of those countries joined NATO and in that time Africa still hasn't built itself up.

China has gone from an equally shit shithole as Africa, to a civil war, to WW2, to another civil war, to starving 60-100 millions of its own citizens to death, to building trains and megacities in 30 years, to colonizing Africa themselves. It'll never be a world war there because they're literally retarded and countries can take the easy route of putting them in debt traps like China instead of a war.
