A few years ago, I was downtown and studying for my (adult) high school exams near the central library since it was too full inside. Before I knew it, I was being surrounded by an entire group of hooligans; it was so strange, in my head I could already see headlines like "Man beaten up by hooligans." They weren't bothering me or anything, they just started chilling where I was. They were all around 6'0" - 6'2". One of them I remember was trying to read what I was reading (it was in Dutch, he wouldn't be able to understand). Another one showed me an empty weed bag and said to me "Good shit," in a clear, thick accent. Then after a few minutes they just left and another man approached me asking if I had seen a bunch of foreign guys. I told him I did and I pointed out which direction they went since he asked me. I thought they were Russian but then the man told me he was actually with them and that they are Croatians. So as a clearly brown dude I didn't experience any racism from even Croatian hooligans so I don't think they are actually racist, must just be a stereotype.
