why do u like being alone? for me it's simple, the fact that i have no obligations to do anything with anyone means i can adhere to a strict health lifestyle, and that includes eating well, sleeping on time, less stress over social interactions, unneeded toxicity etc..

Years of rotting = make you adapt to loneliness and stay inside

Comfort. My whole life I’ve been living comfortably and not exploring the zone outside of comfort. I’ve had friends my whole life, now that I don’t have them I really can’t be bothered to try again.

I don’t like being alone but at a certain point it’s near impossible to break into a social circle or form one. If there were things I could do alone (without NT autist failo) thay would put me in a position to fix that I would. It’s a catch 22

I often feel lonely, but I like too much to be alone, always have. Extremely hard for me to make friends anyway since I’m an autist with a reclusive and avoidant personality. Being alone is something I’m used to, it’s my norm, and I can’t stand normies. I can do shit I want and I can play games all day (I do enjoy rotting and playing vidya, it’s what made me a recluse to begin with), it also means I have much more time to focus on my hobbies, which have improved a lot over the years. I also fast a lot and don’t feel pressure from people to eat or that I starve myself. And I can do whatever I want with no time pressure. It would be nice with a friend or two, but I can’t relate to anyone anymore. These forums are a social outlet so I don’t go crazy

I feel like shit if I don't have an opportunity to restore my mental balance alone in silence. I simply can't rest when someone is around. But that doesn't mean I'd like to be an outcast without friends one bit.

yes, as much as i like socializing with the people i'm close with if i'm around them for too long i legit start to get irritated for no reason whatsoever. something in my body naturally tells me to get my alone time asap

I do have a couple friends, but I just don't like socializing in a big group. I did that Briggs-Myers personality test, and got INTP. I could relate to a lot of things the site said about INTPs.

I like being alone because I can be myself and have no responsibilities.

I don't like people. I'm not fascinated by anyone irl, they're all boring to me. If i saw a guy I think worth the attention, I'll probably strike a convo. then again, I'm not out much this days so it's even harder to find such people.

INTP is the master race.

Being with a girl you love > being alone > being with (((friends)))/normies and female friends who don't like you.
