There isn't anything wrong with long hair + man bun tbh, at least if your forehead isn't too big. But maintaining and taking care of long hair just sucks.

Yeah, short(er) haircuts do indeed make many people look younger. I just think that undercuts are a bit too extreme (had one myself from 15-17 yo) and that other short(er) hairstyles are better.
But if you like it, that's all that matters!
