Its weird because a buzz does the same
But medium lenght aka in the middle like first pic is ideal not ogre and ideal for youthful look

Medium lenght hair like first pic strikes me as youthful, in the second one he has pretty longer hair and it gives me ogreish vibes again

Weirdly this is kinda true. if you have longer hair and and it covers the sides of your face it makes face look much wider. Also I think it kinda frames the face in a way which kinda makes your features like chin, nose stick out more which could make u look ogreish
