Having long eyelashes is one of the easiest appealmaxxes to do but people here keep forgetting the most important factor which is THE CURL. This has an especially strong effect on selfies.
If you have sleepy eyelashes it fucks with your stare so hard as it changes the perceived canthal tilt making it seem negative (supposing it was the ideal, slightly positive, to begin with) and so if you don't have at least slightly curled eyelashes you're genuinely better off shortening the outer edges of your lashes with scissors to the point where the outer canthus can be seen.
"but they increase perceived PFL anyway broo"
jfl it's completely unrelevant to have some increase in the perceived horizontal length of your eyes when they look like you haven't slept in 10 decades.
Now the issue is curling them cuz nobody is trying to get caught doing that or even just feels like doing that fag shit, but the effect curled eyelashes have on the eye area is insane as they are a huge buff to the overall appeal giving you both the things listed earlier, a better perceived pfl and better perceived canthal tilt. So it's your choice if you wanna risk fag allegations but the results are worth the effort.
