Long philtrum isn't a sign of bad growth or downward face at all

My philtrum is 20mm, but i always had it, even when i was 2 or 3 i had a massive philtrum despite having a well developed face, and today i still have it, and i have a good jaw nonetheless.

It's just a rare shit trait. But in my case it doesn't make my face longer, it's just my nose which is 5-10mm shorter than average

In my case it's decent as i have prominent cupid's bow as well as a robust chin

But yeah it's better to have a longer nose and a shorter philtrum

nice, long philtrum is still ugly obv if you have other good traits they can make up for it but still ugly
