they just hang from a needle it's not hard to cut them.

Just cut them on the needle before you insert it?

I tried insert 25mm of a full 50mm screw, pull out the needle, (theoretically) have 25mm inside, 25mm hanging outside, cut the remaining hanging outside
Did not work jfl

Won't be a problem if I just use a razor blade to slice the thread as its coiled around the needle before I insert right?

yeah literally.

you can cut wires that stick out though, you'll just have to twirl the needle around a little bit so it's not stuck to the wire anymore.
