I have medium-long hair right now and I notice that when I’m not shampooing and not conditioning my hair in the shower, my hair sits more flat and greasy now. This didn’t happen when I had shorter hair, and I used to be on no shampoo. But I guess this also might depend on hair type and thickness, as I have very straight, medium thickness hair. Does anyone else have this problem where they have to shampoo more now?

How often you shampoo can affect how quickly it gets greasy when it’s not a shampoo day when I used to shampoo 3 times a week with my long hair it was getting greasy really quick so I cut back on it you could try it

how many times do u condition?

I tend to only condition once a week cuz of my hair length produces enough oils mostly anyways so I don’t really need it often

from my experience of growing out my hair it's more about how you style it after you wash it, the worst thing is how greasy it gets and since I only had shampoo when I was growing it out it ended up drying my hair. I'd assume conditioner is the better alternative for weekly use

Wait I think you’re right, because usually on school days I try to dry it perfectly, but on weekends when I don’t really go outside that much I barely try to dry it and it feels more greasy after
