Due to my location, I won't get sunlight even if I go out. You can still get decent amount from eggs and dairy as long as it's raw. But raw brain is ideal. Not really into supplements because it's a waste of money when you can just buy food plus a lot of them don't even work due to bioavailability (they flow in the blood, which shows higher level on tests, but the body doesn't adsorb them, iron supplements can notoiriously give you heavy metal poisoning like that). If you don't go out for long periods of time and don't get enough sunlight on your bare skin, you could be vitamin D deficient. The consequences can be very bad, very low testosterone, weak bones, poor immune system. If you might be vitamin D deficient, take 5,000 IU's to 10,000 IU's a day, but be careful not to exceed that long term. Short term a person could safely take one time 50,000 IU's, such as to fight a cold or when first starting vitamin D supplementation.
