“Keep a quiet heart, sit like a tortoise, walk sprightly like a pigeon, and sleep like a dog.”
– Li Ching-Yuen
Li Ching-Yuen is said to have lived over 250 years, embodying longevity and vitality. Whether or not you believe in his extreme lifespan, his philosophy and lifestyle offers a benefit to us all.
Let’s unpack the quote:
- “Keep a quiet heart”: Inner peace and stress management are essential. Any stress accelerates aging, destroys your skin health, and shortens telomeres which are the protective caps on your DNA that prevent DNA damage during cell division.
- “Sit like a tortoise”: Tortoises dont move alot and thats what you should not do, for example working out since it causes cardiac output which decreases your lifespan, you have a limited ammount of heartbeats.
- “Walk sprightly like a pigeon”: Movement like walking in nature is not exertive and is natural therefore it is healthful.
- “Sleep like a dog”: Sleep is when the body repairs itself. Sleeping as much as your body wants to is key.

1. Diet
You want to minimize AGEs (Advanced Glycation End Products) as much as possible. AGEs form when proteins or fats combine with sugars in your body, leading to oxidative stress and inflammation, both of which accelerate aging and damage your skin, organs, and DNA.
A Raw Carnivore Diet is what you would want to eat.
Nutrient Repletion is just as important to follow, you need to maximazie Micronutrients, while eating just as much as your body needs and wants, which in return when on a raw carnivore diet will make you less hungry, thus you will be eating less, and eating less ages you less in general.
Every time you eat, your body metabolizes food to produce energy. This process generates free radicals, unstable molecules that damage cells and accelerate aging. By eating less, you reduce the production of free radicals, which helps protect your DNA, proteins, and cellular structures from damage.
Frequent eating spikes insulin levels. Chronically high insulin can lead to inflammation, weight gain, and cellular damage which all contributes to aging. By eating less, particularly by avoiding carbs, you stabilize insulin levels, which helps your body stay in a repair-focused state rather than a growth-focused one.
Over time, you should shift to eating only one meal per day.
Here's a list of good foods:
- Raw grass-fed Red Meat
- Raw Fresh (Never Frozen) Bone Marrow
- Raw Blood (no additives)
- Raw Organ meats like liver, kidney and brain
- Raw, high-quality (quality is crucial) animal fats like egg yolks, raw butter, fat from the meat, etc.
- Fermented foods (High Meat)
Your diet should be like 70% Fat or so, rest protein, there is no such thing as 0 carb, so you'll always get some carbs from the glycogen of the meat which should be negligible tho.

2. Importance of not working out
People nowadays have been brainwashed to believe that excerises is healthful and that it slows down aging?
Exercise is inherently a stressor. When you work out, you’re essentially putting your body under controlled damage:
- Muscles tear during resistance training.
- Cardiovascular strain occurs during high-intensity or endurance activities.
- Hormonal imbalances result from stress-induced spikes in cortisol.
People who do alot of marathons or do jogging frequently, have scars on their hearts.
Elevated cardiac output and overexertion increases the heart's workload, leading to hypertrophy (enlargement) and, eventually, reduced efficiency. This can contribute to cardiovascular disease.
Chronic stress weakens the liver, kidneys, and other organs tasked with clearing metabolic waste products like lactic acid.
Every repair process after exercise shortens telomeres, the protective caps on your DNA, directly impacting your cellular lifespan.
Not to mention that the stress accelerates aging by breaking down collagen, leading to sagging skin and wrinkles.
Stress suppresses the immune system, making you more prone to illness, alot of my friends who workout are constantly sick.
You want to do LESS, not MORE, keep that in mind atleast, I cant remember the ammount of discussions where people are convinced otherwise.

3. Sleep
90% of repair happens during sleep, waking up to a alarm might be the norm, but it’s one of the worst things you can do for your body, it increases cortisol and messes up your Sleep Cycle.
Sleep activates cellular regeneration, it processes the daily stress, environmental toxins, and metabolic processes.
The glymphatic system, which clears waste products like beta-amyloid (linked to Alzheimer’s) is most active during sleep.
Poor sleep elevates cortisol levels, lowers testosterone and increases your risk for any kind of disease.
"How much should I sleep then?"
As much as your body needs and wants to, its simple as that, it has always been: Listen to your body
The fact that I have to tell this to people nowadays is beyond me.
Some people can be fine with 5 hours (If very healthy, probably not the case for you), while some need 8+ hours to even function.

4. Sex & Masturbation
This will piss alot of the monks of .org of but, Sex and also Masturbation is healthy and should be done when your body craves it.
Yes, you shouldn't watch porn, but since when did men stop ejeculating on purpose? Only recently.
No, it does not turn you into a tranny, infact masturbating creates many beautiful hormones, and reduces cortisol aswell as stimulates testosterone production.
Orgasms release oxytocin, the "bonding hormone," which promotes relaxation, emotional connection, and a sense of well-being.
The endorphins released during orgasm act as natural mood elevators, reduces anxiety and depression, I already see the comments.
Studies link regular sexual activity to sharper memory and improved brain health.
Again its something Natural, therefore it is good, and you don't have to be ashamed for doing it.

5. Reducing Stress
Now even tho this whole thread was about decreasing stress and cortisol I can't stress (no pun intended) it enough.
Never Stress, If you catch yourself being stressed, remind yourself of this:
Keep your body in comfort, fuck all this cold shower shit which I didnt even mention, don't go against your body.
See life as a limited access game, don't go into deep discussion with people, stop hating yourself (even tho its hard sometimes), and love your family and spend alot of time with them.
I've no place in my heart for hate anymore, i hope you liked this bhai.
And don't forget to never stress bb.
