So who is Brendan Figueroa, and what sort of events could have transpired to lead him to the pathetic scene documented here? Some backstory and context follow.


Brendan Levi Figueroa, 24, is one of the most prominent public spokesmen and champions for the 'incel' community and resides in Los Angeles. His usual online handle, as well as the name of his YouTube channel, is BrendioEEE, but he also sometimes uses the alias 'Derrick,' as in his starring role in this program for the Jubilee YouTube channel:
"I'm an incel. Ask me anything." (Jubilee 11-3-2019)

Brendan is also a devout Christian, as demonstrated admirably in this video of his that can still be found on his channel:
"Weak Christians Aren't Christian" (BrendioEEE 7-31-2020)
He was also the subject of a lengthy interview with Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson on the latter's YouTube channel 'The Fallen State':
"Involuntary Celibate Derrick Reveals the INCEL Mentality Online & Real World Struggles" (The Fallen State 10-4-2018)
Just watch a few minutes of this latter video and Mr. Figueroa, or 'Derrick,' comes across as sensitive, pleasant and self-effacing, and when he speaks of his struggles with obesity and his frustration with being always rejected by women many people--especially teenage girls--would be moved by the plight of this sad misunderstood man.

Unfortunately, the personality 'Derrick' put on for his talk with Rev. Peterson was all a lie from beginning to end.

In 2019, a severely mentally disturbed, possibly diagnosable as schizophrenic, 17-year-old girl living in a country outside the US saw this same YouTube interview with Rev. Peterson and then reached out to the soulful incel. She was in a despondent state at the time after the recent death by suicide of a family member and interested in exploring Christianity, and there followed a fruitful online exchange between her and Brendan about spiritual matters. Under his tutelage, she came to believe that the earth is literally flat, that dinosaurs are a myth invented by Jews to undermine Christianity and that the Garden of Eden is located on the North Pole. Brendan also convinced her that they were "married in God's eyes" over the internet and that sending him nudes and masturbating with him over webcam were ways of consummating it and afterward continuing conjugal duties.

In February of 2020, not long after she had turned 18, the girl whom I'm trying to avoid identifying by name ran away from her parents' home at Brendan's instruction, staying in shelters and at friends' homes over the next several months as he struggled to scrape together enough money from his YouTube channel's Patreon to pay for a plane ticket, an effort further stymied with the emergence of COVID-19 travel bans. Meanwhile, her parents were in touch with authorities in their own country and in the US trying to bring human trafficking charges against Brendan Figueroa.

Brendan's noble, inspiring, saintly nature that has always been the bane of the "atheist subhuman" would find itself sorely tested later that same year when the young lady decided that they weren't really married and broke off the relationship before he could find a way to get her to California to have sex with her. (The 'WCG' who has curses heaped on him in this livestream is another man in the girl's home country that Brendan blames for turning her against him.)

In a flurry of videos and livestreams on his channel over the next few weeks he pleaded with, threatened and cajoled her in an effort to change her mind. Another person mentioned in the suicide attempt livestream, 'Tay,' was a second teenage girl Brendan introduced on his channel and slobbered over in a few videos in an attempt to make the first one jealous. Didn't work. Tay appears to have exited Brendan's life after this performance.

In October of 2020 Brendan abandoned his attempts to patch things up and punished the mentally ill teen--who had only a few months earlier made YouTube videos in which she extolled the profound Biblical exegeses of her "husband" and teared up as she called him the man who "taught me a lot about Christianity"--by spreading her nudes around on the internet. He immediately followed up this deed with the livestream presented here, intended to humble her and the rest of us with a display of what true Christian suffering looks like. Brendan would state later, in trying to explain the underwhelming results, that he did research on methods of committing suicide beforehand and found that wearing a dog collar tethered to a tree and trying to lean one's body in the opposite direction is practically foolproof.


(I've also uploaded some images along with the video including a screenshot of the since-deleted Tumblr blog of the mentally ill girl to give an idea of her perspective on the relationship and another screenshot of a post from the same source [just to split hairs so I don't get fact-checked by someone, it's actually from another deleted Tumblr blog of hers with a new name that replaced the Proud Wife one] that gives a typical example of one of Brendan's Tartuffe-type blowhard effusions.)
