Looking down for motivation and being happy that someone js worse is top tier copium. Smirking at the wreckage of someone else’s life just so you can feel a little less worthless is what losers with gutter tier mind do. Their suffering doesn't patch any holes in yours. You are still just as miserable and pathetic that you were before but now with a small imaginary ego boost

Someone else's suffering doesn't make your situation better. Just because there's some nigger starving in the dirt in some African shithole halfway across the world doesn't make your failures and self loathing disappear.

Compare yourself to your past not to someone else's worst day. Compare yourself to your past self. Not to the poorest, the weakest, the most ruined human you can dig up. Growth comes from raising your standards not lowering the bar. Anything less is just another way of staying exactly where you are while pretending the view from the bottom is somehow an achievement. Only losers do this to feel better about themselves

Dopamine release to the max that’s why I watch porn where the girl is from a worse country so that I feel better

For real, but taking the easy way out and coping feels good sometimes. A bad cycle, but it is what it is (for now).

Sociopaths gain satisfaction from other's sufferings.Whereas with me I simply just gain a shit ton of
gratitude and Wisdom to move differently.

I agree 100% when it’s done with the wrong intentions. But sometimes you need to compare yourself to people who have less so that you or whoever you’re talking to feel grateful, I’ve had to do this with my mom to try to get her to stop complaining a million times.
