It looks like I have an oddly shaped upper orbital rim which is causing too much upper eyelid exposure. Does anybody know a plastic surgeon who can correct this? I guess this would be considered orbital rim augmentation, but I'm not sure. I've already reached out to four surgeons without any luck. Apparently there is an option to use fillers, but I'd really like a more permanent solution.

Not a very clear picture, but you get the idea.

Are you the guy who went from 5'8 to 6'2?

Yes, I'm that guy. I did LL on tibias and femurs with LON. I'm not 6'2" though. I gained 4.5 inches.

*edit*

Thank you all for the prompt and very helpful replies!! Seriously! I'm going to set up some consultations.

Any ideas as far as the price?

Yikes! That's a bit much, but I think I can do it, especially if they accept payments (perhaps payments + deposit). This will be my last surgery anyway (and first facial surgery), unless I decide to eventually do a rhinoplasty to correct my slightly upturned nose. I think that's extremely minor though.

You are looking for supraorbital rim implants. Make sure there is a vertical dropdown in the design of the implant that reduces the orbital height

Just get bimax

Thank you. I never even considered it until somebody mentioned that I may have above-average nostril exposure. Nobody has ever made this comment in real life though.

Thank you for mentioning this. That's exactly what I'm looking for. I'll be sure to ask about it. I plan on making some phone calls today.

Ha ha! I did LL on tibias and femurs, and I lost a lot of weight during the process. I'm already up about 20 lbs though. I'm currently 150 lbs and would like to get to at least 170 lbs.

Just get bimax
Isn't that for a recessed jaw? I don't think I have that.

Those results are impressive! I'm assuming those are customized implants. It would be interesting to see an image of the skill without the implants for comparison.

Thank you :)

I was joking. Ppl here tell everyone and everything to get bimax, which is absolutely redicilous. You obviously don’t need it.

So I did some research and it looks like he's an excellent choice. I just thought of something though: These are customized facial implants, right? How do they obtain the dimensions? I still have nails in my legs from LL, so I couldn't do an MRI. I can probably get them removed in six months or so, so maybe it's not a big deal.

I was going to call today, but they're closed until tomorrow. It's the time difference.

Oh okay lol. I tend to take things too seriously ha ha.

Few questions, how did you find out your leg dimensions, did you measure them yourself? Also if you could only lengthen femur or tibia which would it be and why cheers bro.

What does this mean?Need a special design?

Try fillers for upper eyelid first. On this spot, they will last years. Go to dr.taban.

I haven't specifically measured my tibias and femurs, but the tibia/femur ratio seemed to be about average to begin with (just by inspection), so lengthening each roughly equally would result in a normal ratio as well. I was more so concerned about my wingspan to height ratio. I was very short but had a wingspan of about 6 feet.

As for tibia or femur, assuming you have a normal tibia/femur ratio I always recommend people do the femurs. This is for several reasons: First, a large femur/tibia ratio is generally considered aesthetically pleasing. The soft tissues around the femur stretch more easily than those around the tibia, and the bone is also better perfused, so consolidation occurs more rapidly. You can also lengthen the femur more than the tibia, and it's less prone to complications.

All that said, I HIGHLY recommend going with an internal method.

This is right, just consulted, forehead+brow bone implant=30k
I was gonna say. I just received a quote for 30k. Right on the money!

I'm not sure if it needs to be customized or not, but this just means that the upper and lower orbital rims will extend farther towards the eye, creating a "hunter eyes" effect.

I may try this if I can't get the funds for the surgery within a reasonable amount of time. That's what I'm working on now. I make good money, but I'm already in debt due to LL.

Will you be able to exercise / play sports after healing from LL?
Yes, assuming there are no complications. My lengthening for each segment was also fairly conservative (5.5 cm on tibias and 6 cm on femurs).

What surgeries have you gotten in total?
Just two: LL on tibias and femurs, both via LON method, intramedullary nails placed through the knees. If you want to know what true pain feels like, do LON on the femurs.

Anyway, I just scheduled a consultation with Dr Eppley. It's going to be in March with the surgery following about 6 months after. Bookings are tight I guess. Now I just need to work out a financial plan to procure the funds.

They also sent me a photoshopped "after" photo if anybody's interested.

I just consulted by email.(No video consultation yet)They quoted:

Approximate fee for Custom Forehead Brow Bone Implant - $16,000.00 - $18,000.00.

Approximate fee for Custom Forehead Brow Bone Implant and Bilateral Temporal Implants - $29,000.00 - $30,000.00.

Are you sure just the brow bone forehead Implant 30k?

there is no supra surgery. Eppley can't put implants below your brow ridge. He can't even put a good implant above the brow ridge, most of his brow ridge implants look like dolphins and this is why patients remove them

Are you talking about the highlight the brow bone, after the operation, the highlight position is higher?

I think he’s talking about the orbitals. The whole point of this surgery is to get more compact orbitals. Eppely just sticks a implant over the browridge which doesn’t do shit for the orbitals

Sorry to derail the thread but how was LON tibia pain? Scarring?

No, it's not just the brow bone, it's the periorbital rim.

I was told that he does. That's what I'm paying him for. And do you have any pictures? I'd really like to see some.

I was told that it was an "orbital rim augmentation". Maybe the confusion is because I'm also getting a brow augmentation.

Sure! (after photo on the right)

It was bad but not even close to LON femur pain. And the scars are pretty minimal actually. Here's a picture.

Bro his team is trying to scam you, there is 0 chance for this result, if you write me I will show you my friend that now looks like a dolphin, and he asked for an aggressive brow ridge

Is this for jawsurgery forum?

Also OP, you need a combination of fat graft + supras with vertical dropdown(reverse saddle).
Exactly. I need it to be lower. Are you sure a fat graft would be necessary though?

That's seriously discouraging. Shit. Do you know of any surgeon who could achieve this?

*edit* I should add that the only purpose of the brow augmentation is to ensure minimal gap between my eyes and eyebrows. I'm not actually trying to get a large/aggressive brow bone.

No, eppley is the only one who does brow ridge implants. In March during the visit he will say that he can't show you results because "privacy"

Oh, I see. What about supras? Some people are saying that he doesn't do them, but I specifically asked him about them and he said that he could do it.
