Looking for beard growing advice/experience

So my beard is growing only in some areas. I have bread growth on my neck, upper area on my cheek, chin and above the mouth. But sadly it‘s not really growing on my whole cheeks. The growth itself is very full and it grows rather quickly (am 18) but I am trying to expand the growth area.
I have tried 3 guides/treatments so far and nothing worked.

Do you guys have any actually working advice (best from experience) on how to max beard growth?

retinol, but it wont be as good as tret though, make sure you have a skincare routine and you're moisturizing afterward to avoid dry flaky skin
