Looking like a subhuman in certain lighting

In most lighting I look good on camera, but in certain lighting I legit look like a subhuman, also same for mirrors, in certain mirrors I look bad. Am I the only one?
I don't think I look bad but when I see myself in bad lighting my whole day is ruined
